Information for Scholarship Applicants

As of October 1st, 2011 VSTONE has restructured its scholarships.  Starting in April 2012 we will be awarding six (6) $5000.00 VSTONE Scholar awards to Final year veterinary students.  There will be one (1) VSTONE Scholar from each of the six New England states.  Applicants that are not selected as VSTONE Scholars will be eligible for smaller book awards as funding allows.   VSTONE Scholar applicants must be New England residents.  They must be attending an AVMA accredited Veterinary School or College and they must intend to return to New England after graduation.  At this time we will not be taking applications for scholarships from 1st and 2nd students.  3rd year students in 4 year programs and 4th year students in 5 year programs, as well as Final year students are eligible for general scholarships.  The application deadline for the general scholarships is February 15th of the year that the scholarships are awarded.
